Brandon, Miss. (July 2, 2013) – Calling, downloading apps and surfing the mobile web on the C Spire Wireless network just got easier and faster for consumers and businesses in portions of Rankin County - thanks to activation of a new cell site east of the city of Brandon.

The site improves wireless coverage and capacity in an area east of the city of Brandon on Shiloh Road south of Interstate 20 and towards state Highway 43 south of the city of Pelahatchie.

With the improved coverage, capacity expansion and expanded availability of 3G service in the area, consumers and businesses in the enhanced areas should experience faster uploads and downloads and gain access to new and expanded voice and mobile high-speed data services, including mobile video telephony, high-quality music and other multimedia applications, according to David Smith, vice president of Network Engineering for C Spire Wireless.
